November 23, 2008 - Very nice Late Harvest effort from this winery, though I could have done with a little more complexity. Followed a Selbach-Oster Beerenauslese Riesling (which was seemingly past its prime); the Renaissance Sémillon came off as floral, brighter. Wonderful golden amber color, though it hinted at greater weight than was actually there on the palate.
