April 5, 2024 - Interesting blend of Zinfandel (50%) and Syrah (50%). Dark ruby/purple color with a violet rim. Aromas of dark berry fruit, black tea, pepper spice, dried herbs and a bit of barnyard funk. Juicy cooked black berry/raspberry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of black pepper, baking spices, roasted meat and black licorice. Touch of vanilla on the long and brooding finish. Full bodied, dense and quite powerful but the wine is nicely balanced. Very approachable.

February 4, 2023 - Solid wine for the price, one hour decant, similar tastes to others, had it with tri tip and each sip after the spicey meat made it taste delicious, drink now

January 21, 2023 - Super fun wine; LET IT OPEN UP! Drinking without air it was bland, almost no smell and just a good red table wine taste with no complexity. Letting it sit and trying again the next day…
Nose: cherry, plum, currant, blackberry pie, some alcohol, tobacco and leather, a little vanilla and oak
Taste: bouquet of cherry and plum and currant, a little bit of blue or blackberry pie, the tobacco and leather in a refined but long finish. Oak confirmed on the end of the pallet. Moderate tannins, moderate full mouth feel. Complex finish and a really great, unique wine.
