Community Tasting Notes 1

October 25, 2010 - med deep ruby. Smoke, cracked pepper, savory meaty notes. some fine tannins, presumably from french oak toast, anise, violets, soft on the palate, round, with more toast, but well integrated at this point. More blackberry, blueberry, anise, some sweet fruit, and a fine mix of savory notes, roasted meat, thyme, and lavender. Overall very enjoyable. Quite long, with a fine finish with pepper smoke, and roasted meats. At peak and very enjoyable 90 pts.
