May 7, 2020 - Would just reiterate what Oakville72 said a few reviews ago...nailed it. These wines from Meurgey-Perron have always over delivered. Have had several of their recent vintages and different wines from Macon and at WTSO price for $15 ALWAYS a fantastic QPR. Only wish I'd bought at least a case it just goes with everything or nothing summer deck sipper.

February 8, 2020 - Notes consistent with last bottle on 10/21. These wines from Ernest Meurgey-Perron have always been a great QPR Chardonnay in my books for a $15 wine it's hard to match. Only wish I'd bought more.

October 21, 2019 - Have been buying the Meurgay Chardonnays from WTSO for the last several years......always a has been a great QPR Chardonnay. Beautiful lemon curd fruit on the front end with wet stone minerality balance on the finish making a great wine. This is the first Macon-Uchizy from them that I've tried and won't be the last.

August 31, 2019 - Approaching the quality of this producer's — and other producers' — Pouilly-Fuissé. Overall, the wines from Pierre Meurgey under the Ernest Meurgey-Perron and Meurgey-Crosses labels are phenomenal. They reflect the character of Mâcon as interpreted by the delicate touch of the winemaker — retaining the fruit and acidity and mellowed by malolactic. OK, so much for the technical talk. If you want the real essence of Chardonnay, forget most of the expensive crap from California and the rest of the New World. Pierre Meurgey's wines deliver the ultimate rendering of the grape in its unique terroir. Tasted twice. Super value.
