February 5, 2021 - I really like this wine. A much darker color compared to other wines fro Beaujolais. A lush and fruity nose with hints fresh dark cherries, green pepper, tobacco, sun-dried herbs. The taste has a really nice “push-pull” effect between the obvious juicy fruit characteristics and dry, bitter and tart flavors of cherry stones, very dark chocolate and black tea - very low tannins but still rather bitter. High acidity, bone dry, a very dark interpretation of Beaujolais yet light as feathers. VERY good
