January 21, 2024 - decanted for an hour. terrific.

December 24, 2023 - Decanted for a couple hours. Dark ruby in the glass, with a nose of raisins, dates, spice, oak. The palate shows nice acidity, minerals, wet forest floor, coffee beans, raisins, plums - so layered and complex; still young and heavy but aready enjoyable, with medium tannins and a long, oaky ending. A great Amarone from an ok vintage - this will improve with 5-6 years of rest.

April 15, 2022 - This wine needed about 60-90 minutes to be at its best but 4 hours later it continued to improve. Complex, mildly tannic, solid acidity, bold red fruits. Really enjoyable throughout the entire evening.

October 22, 2021 - Decanted 1hr+. Ruby, long legs, fruit forward fragrance with ripe raspberries and light leather, licorice. Very milky body, amazing raspberry & strawberry mix, medium dry, throat burning, light-to-medium frontal tannins. Finish was more enjoyable than initial smell. As wine opened up, leather & yellow nectarine fragrance came through balancing the ripe raspberries.
