Quitefloral on the nose to start, there’s some lovely quality Sangiovese fruit here, tangy and quite concentrated, plenty of tannins now and pretty tight even after an hour or so decanted. For me it’s not open enough to be enjoyable, we’ll try the 2nd half of the bottle tomorrow.
