  September 14, 2022 - Very reminiscint to me of a Hall cabernet, in style, with that damp wet earth, dark berries and cassis on the nose, classic new world style, lots of sweet dark fruits. Medium to long finish, slightly alcoholic. Maybe slightly more restrained than some of the Hall offerings, but very similar in style. I like it, but only so much of it....

  October 23, 2021 - For a 2017, this is a little on the weird side, spices, sour plum, licorice, nutmeg, and dark oak on the palette. I don't think this is particularly my style. Also Sediments in the bottle don't help it much with the score either. Great kick of spring and anise on the nose though.

  July 21, 2021 - Deep youthful purple. Big bouquet with dark brooding fruit and lots of blackberry. Vanilla and spice with a minty backbone in the mouth. Excellent and powerful wine that will yield big results in the years to come.
