  December 23, 2023 - Very mineral with some very nice floral notes. Pineapple and apple on the nose, which also develops in the taste profile. Slight waxy feel, but very slight - which would be indicative of the butyric acid esters noted in previous posts. I detected no butyric acid at all in this bottle. On the acidic end of the spectrum, but the acid helped balance the pineapple, which by itself might overwhelm. Overall a very nice, drinkable chardonnay. We will be in Argentina over (our) winter 2024, I'm now looking forward to sampling more of their whites while we're there.

  December 17, 2023 - Drank over two days. Tropical (pineapple) and stone fruit, lemon zest, white flowers, chalk. Also getting a hint of butyric acid, which I am pretty sensitive to, but subtle enough that it doesn't overall detract from the nose.
  
  Palate has a full-bodied, waxy texture, yet puckering acidity (no or partial MLF?). A hint of a leesy quality.
  
  This is a very pleasant wine. Not a typical chardonnay, but showing well nonetheless. I think this will hold for a couple years still, but not necessarily going to improve.
