Community Tasting Notes 3

June 3, 2020 - Medium ruby. Upon opening aromas of red cherries and old shoes. This cleared up to have more red fruit (plum, cherry), clay, wet stone, graphite and charcoal notes- of medium (+) intensity. On the palate the wine is dry with medium acidity, medium fine soft tannins, medium alcohol, medium body. The flavors are of medium intensity, primarily red fruit, with hints of charcoal and graphite. The finish is medium. The wine is good demonstrating balance and offers some interesting aroma/flavor palate by way of amphora and blend however it feels washed out on the palate and lacking intensity and finish. Would not age but drink now.

February 5, 2020 - Very nice example of Portuguese amphora wine. Red fruits, earthy note, spice.
