January 31, 2022 - Trust the winemaker more than the vintage. This saying rings true here as Jesse has made a very tasty wine in an otherwise unpopular year for Sonoma and Napa. Do I prefer shoulder vintages of 15,16 &18…sure but this is nothing to write off. Drink up!

December 25, 2021 - Drank on 12/25/21. Definitely needs more aging

August 4, 2021 - Beautifull notes of cassis and major blueberry!! Slight undertone notes of sweet green tobacco. For my standards amazing QPR! I will definately be an Aperture fan moving forward! And Sonoma!! It really taste like Premium Napa!

April 3, 2021 - Deep ruby color with slow legs. New french oak, cassis and blackberry on the nose. Mixed jam on the palate with black cherry on the back end. Long leathery finish. Kept getting better after 2 hour decant.

January 16, 2021 - Two hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Chocolate buttercream frosting, blueberry compote, char on a steak, and black cherry on the rich nose. Smooth, dry, creamy palate, with pixelated acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish. Impressive wine for this down vintage (and from Sonoma no less).
