Community Tasting Notes 5

August 16, 2023 - Light bodied. Juicy red fruit with bright raspberry notes and lingering tartness. Red fruit and acid sounds simple, but it has to be in proper balance.

November 23, 2021 - Light red, slightly hazy. Delicate and sweet nose of light red fruit, grapefruit. Light, refreshing, definitely red-flavoured but feels like a white with lively acid and a little sucrosity. Another unusual and interesting wine from Bechthold.

April 12, 2021 - Light and refreshing. I've become a fan of Cinsault as a varietal and Birichino's Bechthold Vineyard Cinsault is definitely worth buying. Purchased at Birichino's tasting room in Santa Cruz.

November 9, 2019 - Decanted. Lovely, if young. Possible up score in a couple years. Great QPR. Mid- body, mid+ acid, 12.5%
