  October 28, 2021 - Inky black hue. Aromas of blueberry, cherry, earthy, eucalyptus, pepper, plum, tobacco, and vanilla. Big bodied, with robust tannins and high acidity. Big and bold, but still rounded and supple. The palate is replete with oak and dark fruits, but the high ABV may leave the mouth a little hot. Dangerously quaffable though. An excellent red that's worth drinking now or for years to come.

  November 7, 2020 - Nose a little disappointing, especially at first opening. Improves with time. Flavors are there - some darker fruits and wood, although a little muted and dominated by acidity. I liked this wine but for a Syrah would want a little more assertion from the primaries and not quite as much acid.

  October 6, 2019 - This is really good. Gave a 2 hour decant. Aroma of dark fruit. Flavors of blackberry jam. Smoked.meat, eucalyptus, and black pepper.
