April 21, 2022 - Black cherry nose with wet wood and a tiny hint of turpentine. Surprisingly tart palate brings a thrust of slightly sour black and red cherries with piercing acidity that quickly fades. Oak and tannin coast the tongue to start the finish, followed by another layer of acidity ridden by red plum fruit, damp earth, wet grasses and a bit of dried herb. This bottle/tasting shows a Zin that's out of balance - the acidity overwhelms the fruit.

October 6, 2020 - Very smooth. Fruit forward raspberries cherry slight mineral nice finish medium tannin. Really like it. From the Russian River Valley this vineyard.
