October 3, 2020 - An amazingly deep cranberry-leaning-to-plum. The nose is explosive with smoke and cherry. To be so young, this easily could have been decanted and perhaps I should with the next bottle just for comparison. But the wine is approachable with softening tannins, tremendous fruit and exquisite balance. No real notes as we chill out of from a stress-filled and emotional weekend reconnecting with family at Von’s memorial and delivering his eulogy. Not a grain of sediment yet. 14.5% alc. With cheeses, ficcionlolio, and bread. 10.03.20. Highly Recommended, maybe, but definitely more than “Recommended”.

May 20, 2020 - PnP and had with Chicken Parm. Really good effort, this bottle had a bit more funk and earth with its sour cherry underpining.great QPR
