August 4, 2020 - Pale golden color. Really nice aromas of freshly zested lemons, crushed white flowers, green apple, a bit of powdery rock. Barely any noticeable oak. Similar flavors on the palate with a bright, juicy apple and citrus profile. Strong cutting acid balanced by ripe fruit. Fantastic chardonnay.

November 21, 2019 - I don’t dabble in much California wine these days, but this @enfieldwineco Haynes Chardonnay is one of my jams. Made for good casual drinking with friends, I love the big savory, saline streak to this wine, a nod to its classic, old world style. However, it’s slightly rounder and less austere than white burgundy, making its CA roots believable and charming. It’s 13.3% Abv is perfectly well integrated, and overall this is slightly more forward than I recall from the 2014.

November 14, 2019 - Citrus, mineral, med body, not quite the depth and texture of prior vintages
