February 17, 2023 - Still in drinking window. Pronounced beetroot nose. Dense kirsch notes, quite viscous mouthfeel. Some mushroom but not earthy. Bit of saddle leather on finish.

February 18, 2019 - Per cellar tracker, 10 years past it’s window. Well, this wine is alive! Typical Magnien nose and front end, supple and soft on the palate. The core is ruby with an slight browning on the rim. So delicious, I wish I could locate his wines...

November 3, 2008 - Really sappy and delicious--I may not be able to keep out of these this winter. Lots of strawberry and resin on the palate. After about an hour some tartness emerged on the close, however this is a wonderful wine to enjoy over the next 5 years with a wintery meal or perhaps fresh grilled salmon in the Summer.
