  April 12, 2022 - Deep ruby color with slow legs. Prune, dark cherry and molasses on the nose. Blackberry, plum and vanilla on the palate. Long leathery finish.

  October 8, 2020 - Dark fruit, acidity, tannins... Wood
  I do notice in my now biased palate- planky wood with additional traditional vanilla oak- in reference to another review, but it is acceptable ( and a year later taste date). This wine should despite what you have read- definitely hold. The '24 drink by date seems appropriate. I like this wine, but price point isn't it's friend. I could see myself adding a point for each $10 off of the $55 retail (I didn't pay that much) or per year in the cellar. So enjoy this drink more in a year or even a few and decant it deserves it now and probably will deserve it later too.

  September 18, 2019 - Super dark with lots of stuffing, way, way too much wood for my taste. More woody and planky and not pleasantly oaky. Slight bitterness, too much wood, not enough tannins to hold in my humble opinion. Will not buy again...Cheers
