October 30, 2022 - Juicy black fruit, inviting bretty aromas, smooth and gulpable. The acidity comes through on the second or third day which makes me feel that this may last longer than we are giving it credit for. I polished off both my bottles this year.

April 19, 2022 - PnP, slow ox in glass 45 min. Significant barnyard, almost animal fur aromas that you have to get past to appreciate the dark, brooding black cherry fruit and earth. Could have fooled one that this was a northern Rhone with the aroma profile. After 90 minutes it started to subside revealing more exotic spices and perhaps some minerality. I'm guessing the fruit will be sustained over the next few years, but would definitely decant 90+ minutes before serving.
