September 9, 2021 - Pop and pour, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, dark ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, youthful aromas of bell pepper, eucalyptus, blackberry, black raspberry, and vanilla. Palate: Dry, high tannin, medium acid, medium+ intensity and body, medium alcohol, flavors of spice, black raspberry, plum, and bell pepper with a medium+ finish. Still youthful at the moment, decant for an hour or two if drinking now, needs a couple years yet before entering a 5+ year prime drinking window.

September 6, 2021 - “Tastes like Napa is a glass”, says my wife. She’s not wrong. Ripe, lush red and black fruits, French oak barrel scents, full body, and well-managed round tannins. I can almost feel the sunshine. Best QPR in Napa cab?

July 11, 2021 - This really hit the spot tonight. This may be the most fruit forward of the TRB cabs I’ve had (and to be clear, I’ve had a good number but by no means all). The first glass was pure hedonistic pleasure, the second started to approach over the top, but by the third it had come into balance and had me wishing for more. I don’t know what more you can ask for in a $50 Napa cab.

June 26, 2021 - Very nice wine, great TRB effort for the price

June 24, 2021 - Cherry, Pomegranate, rhubarb, rose petals, cinnamon, clove, anise, licorice, and a hint of underripe. and green fruit. IMO it tastes like a wine that’s trying to be warm climate but is actually cool climate…. Very good overall and enjoyed the bottle, but 2017 was a terrible year.
