February 21, 2024 - Only 9 months after last bottle, but this is much more what I expected. A bit brawny for a Merlot, but I like that. Rich cherry fruit, some acidity for balance, slight touch of cedar. Just what I had hoped for and expected from Sbragia, which rarely disappoints.

June 28, 2023 - Hmmm. Not sure about this. A bit raisiny on PNP, gave it about 30 minutes. Full-bodied, but fruit a bit muted. Still hot after an hour or so. Expected more complexity from Sbagia. Hope this gets better with a bit more cellar time.

March 25, 2023 - Nice effort; plenty of blue/black fruit, soft tanins and modest acidity. Not subtle. Worked well with braised short ribs.

March 21, 2023 - Flowery nose. Ruby colored but a big wine. Not obviously a Merlot. I taste some syrah notes, big fruit and tannins and chalk.
