December 7, 2022 - A bit over the hill. But still enjoyable in an English way.

July 12, 2022 - It is not often you find a wine different when you retaste it in 2 month, but thats the case with this one for me.
Lovely nose with lemon, white peach and nectarines(Burghound names it tangerine zest).
Today this is not at all exotic but very citrus and lemon based. A medium bodied palate with quite some power and also plenty of fruit in the citrus based finish also with some sweetness thats lovely. This is classic Langoureau with clean fruit and fine balance.

May 8, 2022 - Tasted as a part of WSET2 module 2.5. Floral, Tree fruit (green apple), Stone fruit (peach), other (wet stones), oak (smoke, charred wood, vanilla), yeast (bread). Complex. High acidity, medium body, long finish. Very good quality → 88

May 7, 2022 - Nice broad nose first with nectarines and later pineapple. This is quite big, full and oily again with pineapple and some acidity and a hint of citrus in the medium finish. Really exotic for Langoureau and also a different style than their Mersault in 2018. Works well for me and the sweet fruit is lovely.

April 24, 2022 - For years now, the meteoric ascent in quality and recognition (and sadly in price) of the PYCM and Lamy St Aubin En Remilly have been quite rewarding: certainly up there with many Chassagnes. This wine was a disappointment, and while age will certainly bring more refinement and tone down some of the oak and excess viscosity, the sweetness and lack of precision compare badly to PYCM and Lamy--in fact in a different league. Nice deep yellow tinged color, a nose of some pineapple and topical notes, but the proper acid-backed delineation of the fruit/mineral melange on the palate was missing. Drink now and for 3 more years.
