December 22, 2020 - This is the third time trying the Beaux Monts 2017. And what a wonderful wine it has been every time! Initially aromas of red cherries, cardamom, cloves (vosne Spice...?), a very light touch of oak influence in the form of hints of toast. After some time in the glass the wine completely changed into an explosion of violets. Just so intoxicating! Palate is super juicy with crunchy red fruit, salivating acidity, spices, a hint of toast and smooth tannins in the background. Bruno Desaunay et al really nailed this wine in 17!
