November 28, 2019 - Opened for 12 hours before decanting. Beautiful dark reddish color. Bricking but not light. What a nose of burnt cinnamon, caramel and cherries. The wine just coast your mouth with a beautiful melange if fruit compote smoke and tar. The bottle threw a lot of sediment. Just a wine in a very good place. Still had a lot of life left. Tonight 93

April 27, 2019 - Tasted at a local wine shop with the winemaker/owner who is an American woman from NYC. The color was medium to dark, almost opaque garnet. Floral and vanilla nose. Palate is soft and velvety and perfectly mature with cherry and chocolate and a moderately long finish. Quite good but a step down from the 2006 Riserva.

November 2, 2018 - Opened later than the rest f the wines for the evening, about 4 hours. Slow oxed and then into a decanter for another two. Really dark and smells of earth, spices and faded flowers in a good way. A bit of rust?. In the mouth there is enough acid to keep it fresh. Beautiful liquor like fruit compoite iron and maybe earth/dirt. Really good and I'm glad I have more as there is no rush. Almost the WOTN but the Moccagatta Bric Balin 1996 was a bit better.

October 21, 2018 - Decanted. After 1hr, classic aged Brunello nose, finishes fine, but Nothing wow.
