    March 2, 2014 - Dinner at William's (William & Gina's): From a 375ml. This has developed quite nicely in the last 5 years or so since I last tried it. The nose had grown richer, more intense, with deep notes of honey and apricots and sweet peaches, along with a waft of nuttiness and a little drift of petrol. The palate has gone the other way though - it was certainly less sweet than nose, and seems less sweet than what I noted from the last bottle as well. What struck me most here was super fresh, juicy acidity that gave the wine a lovely energy. It seems to have gown in stature too, with a lovely Rheingau depth and feel, even power, to its flavours of peaches and nectarines and more citrusy lemons, all traced with that wonderful acidity. The finish surprisingly still had some primary grape sugars on it along with a little spiciness, which suggests that the wine still needs time. No worries on that front though - this has the structure and balance to age for a decade and more. I would personally leave it aside for another 4-5 years before popping another 375ml. Very good.

    August 22, 2013 - Zesty, medium sweet, starting to develop a petrolly note. If you feel like a sweetish aperitif, this is just the ticket.

    September 7, 2011 - Alcohol :: 7%
    From 500ml. Second bottle and this showed even better. Sweet lemon, peaches, apricot, yellow flower with just a faint hint of petroleum and earth. This is drinking very well now: well-balance between the sweetness, acidity and mineral. Creamy, saline, sweet honey entry that quickly wrapped up by the mouth watering acidity that form the medium level of complexity and refreshing mouth feel. I pretty much like the juicy finish that linger with mineral and light touch of sweet lemon and preserved plum undertone.

    April 22, 2011 - Casual Drink 2 (Maiu Restaurant - Damansara Perdana): Alcohol :: 7%
    From 500ml. Medium golden in color. Very sweet, honey coated mango, mandarin and smoke, quite complex and deep with strong acid to balance with the sweetness on the considerably rich entry. Sweet but bright, not heavy but this lack a bit of richness on the mid palate. Medium length. Not bad too. Buy - Maybe.

    August 30, 2010 - Remains pale; pineapple (chunks), lychees, penetrating; medium- sweet, refreshing acidity, nicely weighted, has a stone fruit fleshiness; this has breed & balance. Potentially a long distance runner, but lovely right now.
