  July 3, 2023 - Was refreshing on a hot day at large party where I was the cook. The dominant flavor is citrus, mainly grapefruit and lemon. Flavors were not prominent but present. Wanted to like this more than I did. Still a decent wine and producer. Bubbles were medium to fine and ran out pretty quickly after perhaps 15 minutes. would i buy again? Probably, but I would like to try a newer vintage to see if it was more vibrant. Perhaps I was expecting and extra brut but this is brut. I think I liked a recent NV Gosset better, but still would buy this again. I concede I would like a different setting to enjoy this, as being party cook in warm weather was not the best stage for wine. I sipped while grilling though and it refreshed..

  September 9, 2022 - Quince color, toasty, vibrant bubbles
  Bright acidity with taste of Opal apple (without the sweetness of course)
  
  90% Pinot noir mostly Aÿ grand cru
  10% Chardonnay from cote de blancs
  
  Disgorgement 4/12/2019
  Dosage 6g
  
  Enjoyed with Hiromi solo Sfjazz at home :) and Takoyaki & karaage
