April 13, 2024 - Classic Chapellet and Napa profile. Just lacking the depth of fruit I would typically expect from this bottling which is certainly a byproduct of the much maligned 2017 vintage. Good effort nonetheless.

July 14, 2023 - We love this wine! Chappellet Signature is a consistent Napa Cab winner. Full body, with big rich fruit flavors. Blackberry with a hint of pepper. Jammy in a good way, providing character. A slight ripeness and overweight of alcohol lingering one hour after opening and decanting. I’m confident this will smooth out over the evening, and with time. Drinking nicely now, but likely to improve. Good upside. Excellent QPR.
