  April 10, 2009 - Starting a "new" tasting group (slave2thevine's house): What a pleseant surprise. Showing a light ruby in the glass with a bit of funk and black fruits on the nose there was actually some very interesting aeromatics to this wine...In the mouth there was good acidity that went well with the food and allowed the sour cherry and red fruits to linger on the palate. A good reminder not to judge everything comming off the grocery store shelves so hard.

  February 23, 2008 - Not bad. Had some blueberry fruit nose, decent feel in the mouth, fairly smooth taste and a decent finish that is a little too acidic.

  September 9, 2007 - Rich, bold blend of fruit, earth and structure, rounded out by a deliciously soft mouth feel. Luscious red cherry fruit wrapped around an earthy, intense center. The finish is long and layered with a hint of coffee and chocolate and a pinch of spice.
