January 6, 2023 - Deep ruby color, almost purple. Pronounced aromas of licorice, blackberry, plum and charred wood. Medium acidity and tannins; high alcohol and full bodied. Pronounced flavors of licorice, blackberry, plum. Medium finish.

March 30, 2022 - Punches way above its weight. The Lake County region will one day be a household name. This wine has enough tannins to hold it for at least 3-4 years. A little chewy still now.
