  January 6, 2022 - Nice bottle of Syrah, fully mature, tannins resolved, earthy, woodsy, mildly spicy bouquet, medium to long finish. PNP at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, Hillcrest, San Diego, Ca. A short decant would probably be in order as the wine did improve in the glass. Not going over the hill anytime soon, showing no signs of age. This bottle enjoyed perfect storage so keep that in mind when assessing my rating. I have 1 more bottle...Maybe try it with a Steak or Italian soon.

  May 28, 2017 - Our last bottle and at or perhaps just past peak. Notes of plum with grapey dark fruit and a hint of white pepper. Develops a lovely rosemary-ish herbal note with air. Mixed blue and black fruit on the palate with a subtle spice note.

  August 23, 2014 - The bouquet is very meaty, with rosemary and pine needle aromas underneath. Dark fruit and roasted meats on the palate with a green/herbal undertone. The acid stands out a bit too much on the palate knocking it down a couple of points for me.
