May 25, 2024 - I’ll agree with the previous reviews in that this is a really solid wine. There’s a definitive vegetal element to the nose and the palette but as one previous review said it’s in a good way! In addition to the vegetal hints in the nose, I also get eucalyptus on the nose as well as the palette which I really enjoy. Fine tannins finish the the medium to full body and add to the long finish. Open but not decanted for 90 minutes prior to enjoying with a grilled rib eye. Really enjoyed!

May 18, 2024 - This is a good bottle of wine. Peppery and full body. Medium finish. Enjoyed with a couple of fillets.

April 2, 2024 - Liking this a lot after 13 years in the bottle. It’s definitely hit its peak and is drinking well. Super herbal and vegetal in a lovely way.
Aromas of green bell pepper, jalapeño, tomato leaf, mint, oregano, mixed brambly fruit, sweet tobacco, cocoa nibs, coffee, crème de menthe.
Palate is generous and plush but contrasted against fresh acidity and grippy but super fine tannins that have definitely softened with age. All in all this was a $29 shot in the dark but I’m very pleased!1 person found this helpful Comment -
