August 26, 2021 - Aromas of red fruit and cherries and floral aromas mostly in the rose spectrum. Then some deeper notes of licorice and Virginia tobacco emerges, ending in some leathery notes.
The palate is dominated by wonderful sweet red fruit, backed up by nice and salivating acidity, and with a rather persistent finish. There is a lot of nebbiolo tannins, and the wine does feel very young, but time in the glass softens the structure slightly. 93+1 person found this helpful Comment -

May 5, 2021 - Potential -now tight even on day two. However so much good already now. Quite extracted compared to other 2016 Barolo.

November 30, 2019 - Fassprobe am Weingut. Ein grossartiger Wein. Breitschultrig, dicht aber doch elegant. Breite Aromenvielfalt, etwas dunkler und grobschlächtiger als der parallel verkostete Sori Ginestra. Einzig der direkte Vergleich bringt die (vernachlässigbaren, fast nicht wahrnehmbaren) Fehler hervor. Jedenfalls ein grosser Wein.
