March 9, 2013 - This bottle has aged very nicely. The flavor is intense, dark brambleberry and blackberry with hints of prune. There is some tar. The finish was long. It took about an hour for the bottle to really open up. Too bad it's the last one in our cellar.

July 24, 2007 - Pleasing nose of blackberry liqueur, followed by brambly black cherry, hint of raisin, and forest floor. Firm tannins on the finish. Fully mature, but not yet fading. Drink now.
