February 10, 2024 - Absolutely fantastic. Dark color matched the intense nose upon initial pour. Decanted for 2 hours before drinking over another 3 hours. Beautifully integrated and balanced right now. Has good structure. Would be surprised if it lasts at peak beyond 2029-30.

March 30, 2023 - An absolutely mesmerising nose of cassis, cab franc flowers, graphite, plums, blackberries and cigar box. Opulent, yet fresh on the palate. Mid palate lacking a bit, although delivering waves of ripe, sweet fruit. A great bdx blend with an even greater potential. In a word - world class!

February 19, 2021 - Our first bottle of this wine. We drink almost exclusively new world domestic wines from California, Oregon and Washington at times. So take this note with that grain of salt. Pours medium garnet with a nose of red cherry, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is bright and expressive with red fruit balanced with leather and pepper. A bit more on the masculine side. A nice long finish as well. Many years of smoothing and integrating ahead but ready to go now. Quite good.

February 18, 2021 - Similar to the bottle of a year ago, good>very good. Modernists will like this more than I do. That's not to say I don't like it, I like all the Biserno of the last 10+ years, and have bought most of them. This is a bit too chewy, plush for my tastes. Not the point that I had to dump it out, mind you. I'm really just splitting some hairs that ultimately matter. More black than red fruit, but not by too much. Good structure for the next decade+, but I'd give it at least an hour, three would be better, to aerate in decanter, first.
