February 7, 2020 - Still drinking great. Inky, deep purple. Lots of sediment. Fruity nose. Well balanced.

October 24, 2016 - Deep purple, losing a but of oomph (tannin) but still well rounded and fruity.

July 19, 2015 - Despite a crumbly cork, full and rich with leather and good tannin- will drink well for several more years.

February 7, 2015 - I am in love with Christopher Creek 2005 vintage. Supple tannins, confit fruits, dark espresso, last for 20 minutes in your mouth. Addictive and it is the only wine I ever bought 6 bottles of it. you need to experience it over 2 days, proof of a true good PS. One is left.....I'll drink it this year and let you know.

April 23, 2011 - p&p, pour into decanter. first sips are basically just big dark glasses of oak. over the next 15 minutes the oak disappears and leaves behind ... nothing. after another couple hours a big meaty, gamey, smokey component showed up, more like a mourvedre than a PS. attacks the palate up front, dense, drying tannins on a light-medium finish.
the next day the mourvedre flavors are gone and it's more PS-y. dark, dense fruit, tannic, but much smoother.
