December 26, 2015 - Still fairly fresh color; nose shows slight butter and creamy quality, apple, hazelnut, slight tropical fruit but the nose is soft and showing some oxidized notes; palate is medium with very little acid lift any more, finish disappears quite quickly; not as bad as the Cuvee Alyce from the same year; best description for this would be limpid, meh; probably better a few years ago, past peak.

June 15, 2011 - Fantastic aroma of lemon, pineapple, toast, tropical fruit that jumped from the glass of this wine that was too cold. Well balanced. With time, the aroma bacame less as it warmed up to the proper drinking temperature. Perhaps this was a factor of its age. In any case, it is still drinking very well.

December 17, 2010 - Consistent with other bottles. Still pretty oaky, but lots of citrus flavors.

November 30, 2010 - Wow, a beauty right out of the bottle. Light yellow in color. Nose of citrus, butterscotch vanilla and some toasted marshmallows. Bright fruit, lemons, apples with some butterscotch cream in there. The acidity helped it dance well with the artisan bread, the buratta salad and even the mushroom/escargot risotto. Nice representation of what I enjoy in a Cali Chard. Great qpr from Winebid.

July 17, 2010 - Compared to the 2007 this had a lot more acid and fresher tart fruit. Still a big wine, but the freshness made it seem not near as big as 2007. Got better as it warmed. A very well made chardonnay 90+
