September 7, 2023 - Awesome, thrilling and very satisfying. 80% cab and 20% syrah, all from the Stoneridge Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope. A nose that is almost intoxicating in itself. Then, cassis plus dark plums, mocha, tobacco, a touch of violets (from the Syrah?), smoked meats and pencjl lead. A hint of root beer. This wine is seriously put together. A nice minerality runs through it with a surprising sweetness at the end. Silky, velvety but thick tannins hold this puppy together. The finish is minutes long. It took about 30 minures to really open and show its stuff. Worth the wait!

August 11, 2022 - Well, there is no doubt that a few hours of air would reveal greater complexity than an initial pop n pour. However, this was so fricken delicious out of the chute that we never got to that point. A beautiful mix of black cherry, cedar, pepper, showing a little more Syrah than the 20% mix would lead you to expect. Tannins already pretty soft and chewy. Right now, not that intellectual a wine, but give it time and it will be — and right now, who cares? It’s dead ahead gorgeous as is.
Score: 93 + and who knows where it goes? Above my pay grade to say for sure.
Relative to expectations: ++. Party on!

November 30, 2021 - MAssive nose when first opened was like a shot in the face, but this really opened up nicely. Didn't take detailed notes but this was very fruit forward and absolutely delicious.

September 25, 2020 - Beautiful on the nose and first impression on the palate. Fruit forward. Let it breath for a few hours to open up and stretch the finish.
