  July 5, 2010 - Probably past its prime. Suede and dark cherry. Took a few minutes for the finish to come around. Sparkly and dry from the bottle but 20 minutes in the glass it really comes together.

  January 22, 2010 - At the moment really at the top, this wine has very rich, sweet fruit in combination with some remaining tannin. Quite well balanced, some chocolate flavor as well as black fruits.

  September 1, 2007 - Dinner at Mastro’s Ocean Club in Newport Beach, CA – Popped and poured. Inviting nose of black fruits, spice and dried herbs. Really nice mouthfeel with wonderful dark fruits and fresh mint. Finish was smooth and paired well with my bone-in filet. Solid value on a wine list that is extremely marked up.
