August 28, 2013 - Dark red/purple color. Dark fruited nose of blackberry and dark cherry. The palate displays the same dark fruit and rounded tannins, which I did not expect. There is adequate acidity in this full-bodied wine and a long finish. Overall, it was drinking very well and was unexpectedly mature. Very good.

December 10, 2012 - I think this is drinking very well. Popped and poured. Tannins have softened. It was more elegant than other Christopher Creek Petites that I have had. I think this is drinking very well right now. I have one more in the cellar and I won't let iot linger too long

December 6, 2011 - 30 minute decant. Inky black purple with blackberry aromas. Fruit fades quickly but is replaced with cedar and mouth drying tannins and then, just a quick burst of pepper. I think this wine is right where it should be.

October 12, 2009 - Seems more red-fruit dominated than black-fruit, which is what I normally associate with this varietal. Meaty, and structured, but this is a step down from the 2005 vintage in terms of complexity, length and overall quality.

September 8, 2009 - Dark, meaty and peppery. Seems to have the fruit for aging, but the structure, although ample, is a bit course and gritty. Needs decanting.
