December 31, 2020 - Brick red on the edges, fragrant woody notes, cedar, cloves, liquorice, cherries. Taste of pepper, tobacco, star anise, cherry, warm mouthfeel (alcohol), long finish. After beautiful aeration in balance and already supple tannin.

December 25, 2020 - Christmas day dinner (Mont Tremblant): My reliable go-to dinner wine at the moment. Fruity, not too tannic, complex and accessible. Elegant and versatile food companion.

October 23, 2020 - Second tasting is 2 weeks. Layered nose promises a intriguing complex wine. Flavor characteristics similar to previousu note with more emphasis on cherry and licorice. Firmly structured yet fruit-driven acidity avoids unnecessary weight and concentration, elegance over power. Long layered finish with delicious tannins.
    Excellent!

October 11, 2020 - Medium ruby with garnet tinge, fully translucent, slow moving legs @ 14% abv. Aromas of cherry, floral aromas, wood notes. Dry, high acidity, medium(+) tannin, medium(+) alcohol with little residual heat and medium(+) body. Flavors of cherry, plum, cocoa, licorice root, tar, and pepper. Compact, crunchy mouthfeel and with balanced long bittersweet finish.
Strongly recommend to decant for at least 1 hr; and give it a good swirl!

May 10, 2020 - Young yes but lacked complexity. Cherries and oak notes on nose and palate. Was well made full bodied with a medium finish. While not expensive for a barolo, I would pay a little more to get something more complex.87
