December 10, 2023 - Had next to a 2014 Lucia Susan's hill Syrah.
I actually liked this one more as a food fairer.
Notes of olive tamponade, milk chocolate, black fruit, black currant, freshly rolled tobacco, and hints of vegetal + damp sock .
I'd guess that this sees more stem exposure than the Santa Lucia Highlands Syrah I had next to it.

February 26, 2022 - Open those bottles night #5.
Had to finish the evening with my favorite every day wine.
Inky dark, heavy and brooding, cherries and figs, smoke and stone. Just wonderful.
