April 26, 2022 - Part of a larger tasting. Very dark color. Very fruit forward. Cassis, cherry, plum, raspberry, mocha aromas. Loaded with flavor, but balanced. Cassis, plum, raspberry, black cherry, mocha flavors. Medium body, with more, but smooth tannins in the long finish.

November 27, 2020 - Opened for 2 hours. Maybe better to have decanted. Big bold wine. Not a fruit bomb, but definitely has some jam characteristics. Black fruit, cinnamon, some tobacco, dark chocolate. Hints of jam cookies and powdered sugar. Good wine, but very straight forward and heavy wine.

June 21, 2020 - Its a lot. Big, bold, red, powerful chunk of wine. I could almost feel I was chewing the grapes while I drank this. It’s on the sweeter scale of california wines but it’s not overbearing like the Syrah from Austing Hope. I’m sure some people are going to love this. Ripened blueberries, butter, cinnamon and vanilla.

This is not a subtle or elegant wine.
