April 21, 2022 - I've cellared this since release. Primary color - no sign of age. Hoisin sauce and spice aroma. Cornucopia palate across the spectrum with plum, blueberry and dark cherry accents. Fine-grain tannins filter in and a long finish that came back in waves. Medium body and full in the mouth. This should be fine for 5-10 years. 94

February 9, 2022 - Dark ruby in color with slight bricking around the rim. Aromas of black plums and cherries, hint of pine, violets and dark cocoa. Quite structured and large scaled in the mouth showing smoky dark berries, brown spices, medium acidity, hint of toasty oak, and a long spicy finish.

May 4, 2021 - Tasted blind. This started out quite strong in the nose with great ripe fruit of 2002 intermixed with tertiary notes. The palate could not totally follow up as it felt a bit hollow in the mid palate relative to the "announcement" the nose made.
