March 10, 2023 - WSET Exam Wines; 3/10/2023-12/31/2033: The wine looks inky colored. The legs are slow. It smells like black currant (cassis), blackberry, blueberry, strawberry jam, plum, oak, vanilla, toast, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, meaty and chocolate. The body is full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

April 18, 2022 - Still can’t smell much because of covid from a few weeks ago. A little taste of cassis, blackcurrant and some eucalyptus/mint. Really well structured and balanced

March 26, 2022 - Deep purple colour. Rich style of Cabernet - blackberry & violets plus some red fruits. I’m a fan. Less acid than usual - a good thing. Drinking well now & doubt this will shut down. Will be interesting to see if this makes old bones.

March 23, 2022 - A rather stunning Cab Sauv that is great value. Buy if you can.

Black fruits on the nose and palate, with savoury, woody, leafy, and oaky notes. It is perfectly balanced. Will be interested to see how this one evolves - there is plenty of backbone in the alcohol (high), tannins (high, grippy), acidity (high).
