November 7, 2021 - This has continued to settle in and evolve nicely. Great QPR for this well balanced and seamless Syrah. Dark plum, blackberry, tobacco notes on a luxurious body and delivery. Deep and rich but at the same time lifted and precise. Lovely fruit and I enjoyed it on the driveway with friends on a crisp Fall night.

January 2, 2021 - Added a bit of this to my killer Cioppino recipe I always make around New Year’s Day and enjoyed the rest. Notes of leather and tobacco on a sturdy fruit frame. Rustic and full flavored but buoyed by excellent dark fruit notes. Something hit my mid-palate that hinted of marshmallow cream; it happened twice- can’t explain that one! A combination of muscular flavors layered within a medium-bodied wine. Very nicely done.
