  June 18, 2020 - Another superb bottle of wine from Browne Family Vineyards. One of my favorite varietals to drink is Cabernet Franc and it feels like it gets underestimated. I would encourage people to try this bottling from Browne Family Vineyards. Rich dark Garnet color on the glass with skinny legs when swirled around. Very clean with no traces of sediment. The bouquet is restrained, however, there's a hint of herbs as well as black and blue fruits. The palate is where the wine comes alive where you can taste flavors of coffee, milk chocolate, blueberries and that savory herbal character. The wine has low-to-medium tannins with some astringency and that warm alcohol sensation on the finish. This astringency and warm alcohol sensation is even present on the second day so this might be worth aging for a couple of years before drinking to discover its full potential.
