September 16, 2020 - Big. Bold. Brawny. Brambly. High alcohol @16%. Huge -- strong enough legs to walk itself right out of the glass. For those who like their Australian Shiraz in that style, this will be a winner. It will smack you in the face right out of the bottle without apologies. For those seeking a wine with a bit more integration and finesse, this will not be for you.

June 20, 2020 - Semi blind tasting of 6 syrahs. 90 min decant. Also did the shake at the start of the decant.
Very early on this, but it's a dooker.
Deep purple, minimal meniscus, high viscosity.
Great nose after it had the air. Cherry, blueberry, smoked meats, salami and vanilla. The palate was a bit less expressive as the fruit is overwhelming - um - like a dooker. Powerful wine. Good acidity, few tannins sensed. Med+ finish.
    The ladies loved this.

May 31, 2020 - Deep bluish ruby red. Lush nose with blueberries, cinnamon, mocha, smoked spices and purple flowers. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Sweet plums on the palate with blueberry pie, blackberries, cinnamon, cloves, and even some brown sugar. Long finish. Drink till 2030.

May 18, 2020 - Decanted an hour and a half. Dark purple, dense and very smooth, but I found it quite unidimensional. I wasn't getting different notes on the nose or on the finish. It was a little boring honestly.
