January 1, 2024 - Drank as a lead-in to our New Year's eve meal (polenta with boar ragu). Set the stage nicely, being followed by a very nice brunello. Not quite enough oomph to handle the main course but did nicely with the cold cuts that were served as an appetizer.

December 24, 2022 - Very nice. Medium bodied with great acidity. Balanced fruit beyond the usual berry flavors. Restrained tannins, nice long finish with decent complexity.

September 6, 2022 - This declined quite a bit since I had my last bottle about a year ago. The nose shows wet forest floor, mushrooms, some dark cherries. Acidity is still there, and balance is good, but the bottle was a bit oxidized and showed little fruit and mostly leathery flavors, a bit of hot alcohol, and some oak. Disappointing.
