April 17, 2022 - My first Bonarda Piedmonese, and it impressed. If this bottle is representative, Bonarda can give Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, and Chenin Blanc a run for the money in terms of aging potential. Full of crisp red fruit and savory mushroom, no one would guess it was approaching sixty.

February 11, 2022 - Decanted an hour or so before drinking. Cork soaked 3/4 through
Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), nice floral- strong rose, spice, soy, good acidity. Lingering finish. Probably on the downward slope but still really enjoyable.
