June 1, 2022 - Maybe a tad over the edge for me but still super enjoyable to drink. Definitely in secondary or tertiary realm, but there was a sliver of fruit still left in the wine. Last bottle for me and was a good time to pull it. Brick colored to a clear rim. Sediment. Deep forest floor, hints of plum, decomposed bark.

March 24, 2022 - Off the hook PnP. Still there. Best of the night against serious bottles.

January 9, 2022 - Superb. Resolved, with notes of blackberry, cassis, cocoa, coffee, red fruit, mint, eucalyptus, tar, charcoal, and red pencil. Exactly what a first-class California Cab in its drinking window should be. Decanted 1 hour..

November 25, 2021 - Same notes as last coravin pour. Head to head with a 2012. 99' was much more plum, more complex, more Bordeaux. 12' held it's own, but can use a bit more time. 99'...drink up now!

November 18, 2021 - Coravin pour. Similar notes to last bottle. Perfect spot right now. Will be finishing the bottle for Thanksgiving Dinner. A little more minerally this time around. Maybe bottle variance. Lots of fruit still. Integrated tannins. Drink now or hold for next few years, but this is ready to go.
